Edit Client Data
Editing client data allows updating information about a client, tags, contact data, and other characteristics. This instruction will show how to edit client data in the BroadcastUsers module.
When It Will Be Useful
- You need to update client contact data (phone, email).
- You want to add or change client tags.
- You need to correct errors in client information.
- You want to update additional fields or client characteristics.
What's Important to Know
- Client data — all information about a client stored in the system.
- Some fields may be mandatory and cannot be empty.
- Changes in client data may affect segmentation and filtering.
- Change history may be saved for audit.
Before You Start
You are logged in with operator rights. You have navigated to the BroadcastUsersmodule through the menuApps -> BroadcastUsers.You have access to editing client data.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- In the
BroadcastUsersmodule, find the needed client in the list or using search. - Open the client card by clicking on their name or row in the list.
- In the client card, find the "Edit" or "Change Data" button.
- In the editing form, update the needed fields:
- Contact data: phone, email, address.
- Tags: add new tags or remove existing ones.
- Additional fields: update information as needed.
- Check the correctness of entered data.
- Click the "Save" or "Update" button — changes are saved.
What Happens After
Client data is updated and saved in the system. Updated information is displayed in the client card and used for segmentation and filtering.
How to Verify Everything Worked
- Check that data updated in the client card.
- Verify that changes are displayed in the client list.
- Check that tags or other characteristics are correctly applied.
Other Ways
- You can edit data for several clients simultaneously (bulk editing).
- Some fields may be available only for administrators.
- Changes may be displayed in client history for audit.
