How to Save a Broadcast as a Draft?
When you need to create a broadcast but don't need to launch it now, saving as a draft allows postponing activation for later. This instruction will help create a broadcast without immediate launch.
When Needed
- You need to prepare a broadcast in advance, but it's too early to launch it.
- You need to save broadcast settings for further editing.
- You need to create several broadcast variants and choose the best one later.
What's Important to Know
- Broadcast draft — broadcast with inactive status that will not launch automatically.
- The draft can be activated at any time.
- The draft can be edited before activation.
Prerequisites
You are logged in with operator or administrator rights. You have navigated to the Broadcastmodule viaApps -> Broadcast. There is at least one message template in the system. There is at least one broadcast topic in the system.

- "Template" — select a template from the list.
- "Topic" — select the broadcast topic.
- "Start Date" — set date and time (even if it's a draft, the date can be set for the future).
- Make sure the "Broadcast Active" checkbox is disabled — this will save the broadcast as a draft.
