How to Add Images to Broadcasts?
Adding images makes broadcasts more attractive and informative. You can add a logo, product photo, or other image that helps better convey information to clients.
When Needed
- You need to add a company logo to the broadcast.
- You need to show a product or service in an image.
- You need to make the broadcast more visually attractive.
What's Important to Know
- Images can be added via link or file upload.
- Images are added separately for different language versions.
- GIF files can be used in broadcasts (from version 3.4.4).
- Check that the link opens in a browser before saving.
Prerequisites
You are logged in with operator or administrator rights. You have navigated to the Broadcastmodule viaApps -> Broadcast.You have a broadcast template or are creating a new one. You have an image link or file for upload.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Option 1: Adding via Link
- In the
Broadcastmodule, open the broadcast template for editing or create a new one. - In the "Image" section for the needed language version, enter the image link in the URL field.
- Check that the link opens in a browser — open it in a new tab to make sure the image is accessible.
- Click the "Save" button to save changes.
Option 2: File Upload
- In the
Broadcastmodule, open the broadcast template for editing or create a new one. - In the "Image" section for the needed language version, click the "Upload File" button.
- Select an image file on your computer (supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF, WEBP).
- Wait for upload to complete.
- Click the "Save" button to save changes.
For Different Language Versions
If you need to add different images for different languages:
- Repeat the steps for each language version separately.
- For each language, specify your own link or upload your own file.
What Happens After
The image is saved in the broadcast template and will be displayed in messages sent to clients. When creating a broadcast with this template, the image will automatically be added to the message.
How to Verify It Worked
- Check that the image displays in the template preview (if available).
- Create a test broadcast and check that the image displays correctly in the messenger.
- Make sure the image link works and the file is accessible.
