Create Funnel

Funnels help track client conversion at different stages of their journey and identify places where clients are lost. This instruction will show how to configure a funnel for analyzing conversion and efficiency of service processes.

When Needed

  • You need to track client passage through key process stages.
  • You need to identify at which stage the most losses occur.
  • You want to analyze efficiency of different service processes.
  • You need to configure conversion metrics for regular monitoring.

What's Important to Know

  • Funnel — sequence of stages (targets) through which clients pass.
  • Targets — individual stages in the funnel that need to be tracked.
  • Funnels are configured in the settings section and then used in reports.
  • Each funnel has a name and sequence of targets.

Prerequisites

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Go to Statistics module settings via Settings -> Statistics Settings or use the settings button in the funnel report.
  2. Go to the "Funnels" or "Funnels" section.
  3. Click the "Create Funnel" or "Add Funnel" button.
  4. Enter the funnel name — choose a clear name that describes the process (for example, "Sales Funnel", "Support Process").
  5. Add targets (stages) to the funnel:
    • Click "Add Target" or "Add Stage".
    • Enter the stage name (for example, "First Contact", "Order Placement", "Payment").
    • If needed, add more stages in the correct order.
  6. Save the funnel — click the "Save" or "Create" button.

What Happens After

The funnel is created and appears in the funnel list. It becomes available in the funnel report, where you can view conversion at each stage and analyze losses.

How to Verify It Worked

  • Check that the funnel appears in the funnel list in settings.
  • Go to the funnel report and make sure the funnel is displayed there.
  • Check that all stages are added in the correct order.

Other Methods

  • You can create multiple funnels for different processes.
  • Funnel stages can be edited or deleted after creation.
  • For each funnel, you can configure additional filtering parameters.
