How to Export Table Data?

The Export data dialog lets you download rows from the current table to a file for analysis in Excel or other tools. Export respects current filters and visible columns.

When Needed

  • You need a report or extract for management.
  • You want to analyze data outside the platform.
  • You need a copy of the table contents.

What's Important to Know

  • Export is in the records table toolbar and opens Export data.
  • Formats: CSV, XLS, XLSX (availability depends on selection size).
  • One export is limited to 10,000 rows (with current filters applied). If there are more rows, the system warns that only the first 10,000 will be exported; for very large tables only CSV may be available.
  • Exported fields are those visible in the table, not hidden columns.

Prerequisites

Step-by-Step

  1. In Tables, open the target table.
  2. Optionally apply Filters or Search to narrow the selection.
  3. In the toolbar, click Export.
  4. In Export data:
    • Check Current rows in table: {count}.
    • Choose File format.
    • Read Limits if the table is large.
  5. Click Export — the file downloads to your computer.

What Happens Next

The data file is saved locally. Open it in Excel, Google Sheets, or another tool.

How to Verify

  • The file downloaded without errors.
  • Row count in the file matches expectations (within the 10,000 limit).
  • Columns and values match what you saw in the table.
