How to Export Model Data?

When you need to get model data for further analysis in Excel or other programs, export allows downloading data to a file. This instruction will help export model data in the needed format.

When Needed

  • You need to create a report on model data for management.
  • You need to analyze data in Excel or other analysis tools.
  • You need to save a backup copy of model data.

What's Important to Know

  • Data export — downloading model records to a file (CSV, XLS, XLSX).
  • You can export all records or only selected ones.
  • Exported data includes all model fields.

Prerequisites

  • You are logged in with analyst, integrator, or administrator rights.
  • You have navigated to the Custom Data module via Apps -> Custom Data.
  • There is at least one model with data in the system.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. In the Custom Data module, go to the "Data" tab — a table with records opens.
  2. Select the model from the dropdown list — the table updates, showing data of the selected model.
  3. If you need to export only selected records, check the checkboxes next to needed records.
  4. Click the "Actions" button — a menu with options opens.
  5. Select "Export" and then the file format (CSV, XLS, or XLSX) — the system generates the file and offers to download it.

What Happens After

The file with model data downloads to your computer. You can open it in Excel or another program for further analysis.
