How to use saved views?
A Saved view is a named set of table settings: filters, sort, columns, pinning, Table / Board mode, and board column field. Views appear in the sidebar under the selected table.
When you need this
- You return to the same filters and columns regularly.
- Several roles share one table — you need a Shared view.
- You switch quickly between All records and Active.
Key terms
- Main table — default view without saved settings.
- Create saved view / Save view — save current state.
- Update view — overwrite existing; Save as new view — copy.
- Make shared for everyone — others see the view (Shared view).
- Search (not persisted) — Search table is not part of a view.
Before you start
Records table is open. Filter, Sort, Columns (and Board if needed) are configured.
Step-by-step
- Configure the table: filters, sort, visible columns, Table or Board.
- Click Create saved view (or Save view to update the current one).
- In Save table view:
- View name — e.g. Active records.
- Enable what to save: Filters, Sort, Column visibility, Pinned columns, Display mode (table / board), Board settings (column field).
- Optionally Make shared for everyone.
- Click Save view.
- In the sidebar, Show saved views — pick a view from the list.
- To rename — Rename view; to remove — Delete view.
What happens next
Selecting a view applies saved settings. Update view writes new changes to the same view.
How to verify
- Switching views restores filters and columns.
- Shared view is visible to other users with access.
- After reload, the view behaves the same.
