Release 6.0.1
Release 6.0.1 is the first release of the 6.0 line that client instances received. It contains all changes of release 5.20.1, plus the changes of the intermediate versions 5.20.2, 5.20.3 and 6.0.0, which were not released separately. New in it are self-service Outlook setup, more reliable work with Microsoft 365 mail, and protection of bot settings against simultaneous editing.
Please note
- Outlook setup in the bot settings is enabled per instance on request. Contact your ConnectiveOne manager. Until it is enabled, existing Outlook and Gmail connections work as before.
- Database updates. Starting with version 6.0, ConnectiveOne updates the database structure with a new mechanism. It does not affect operators or scenarios, and no action is needed on your side.
Channels: email
New
- Outlook can be connected without the support team. An administrator with permission to edit the bot opens Settings → Bots → the bot → Email integration → Outlook and enters the Tenant ID, Client ID, Client Secret, the receiving address and the sending address. ConnectiveOne configures the connection service address — you do not need to enter it.
- A saved secret is not shown. Leave the field empty to keep it; enter a new one to replace it.
- The "Outlook settings saved" message confirms only that the settings were stored. Check the connection with a test email and a reply in chat.
- If the Outlook connection is not yet configured for the instance, the card says so and suggests contacting support.
Fixed
- A warning instead of a false error when sending is not confirmed. When an operator starts a new email dialog via Outlook and Microsoft 365 accepted the email but the sending confirmation did not arrive in time, the operator used to see a sending error and could send the email twice. Now the operator sees the warning "Email delivery not confirmed" with advice to check Sent Items in the connected mailbox before sending it again. The email is not resent automatically.
- Attachments in emails started by an operator. In a new Outlook email dialog, exactly the attachments that were sent are kept.
Bot settings
Fixed
- Saving one channel's settings no longer wipes another's. Previously, saving the settings of Fast Line or another channel could overwrite an already saved Outlook connection. Now each save changes only its own part of the settings.
- A warning when settings were changed in another tab. If the bot settings were changed in another session in the meantime, ConnectiveOne does not overwrite them and shows the message "Settings changed in another session". Reload the settings and repeat the edit.
