Release 5.3.27

What Changed

  • Esc and click to deselect chat. Pressing Esc or clicking outside the active chat clears the selected chat.
  • Unread messages divider. A divider between read and unread messages has been added in the chat.
  • Message highlight on scroll-to. When scrolling to a message, it is highlighted for easier orientation in history.
  • Quick replies and links. Improved matching and replacement for quick replies; links in messages are handled correctly.

How It Changed

Esc and unread

Before: There was no quick way to deselect the chat; the boundary between read and unread was unclear.
Now: Esc or click deselects; the unread divider shows the boundary in the chat.
Why it matters: Faster context switching and clearer navigation through messages.

Before: Quick reply text substitution could be unreliable; links in messages might be handled in a limited way.
Now: Matching and replacement for quick replies work correctly; links in messages are handled properly.
Why it matters: Quick replies work more reliably; links in messages are correct.
