# Release 5.3.27

## What Changed

- **Esc and click to deselect chat.** Pressing Esc or clicking outside the active chat clears the selected chat.
- **Unread messages divider.** A divider between read and unread messages has been added in the chat.
- **Message highlight on scroll-to.** When scrolling to a message, it is highlighted for easier orientation in history.
- **Quick replies and links.** Improved matching and replacement for quick replies; links in messages are handled correctly.

## How It Changed

### Esc and unread

**Before:** There was no quick way to deselect the chat; the boundary between read and unread was unclear.  
**Now:** Esc or click deselects; the unread divider shows the boundary in the chat.  
**Why it matters:** Faster context switching and clearer navigation through messages.

### Quick replies and links

**Before:** Quick reply text substitution could be unreliable; links in messages might be handled in a limited way.  
**Now:** Matching and replacement for quick replies work correctly; links in messages are handled properly.  
**Why it matters:** Quick replies work more reliably; links in messages are correct.
