Configure Operator Settings in Profile

Personal operator settings allow you to override global operator panel parameters and configure personal options for convenient work.

When It Will Be Useful

• You need to change the right panel behavior (pinning, default tab) only for yourself.
• You want to configure message send delay or display of system messages.
• You need to set the timezone for displaying time in messages.
• You want to enable automatic message translation in the dialog.
• You do not want to see certain system message types in the dialog feed (for example, "Closed with CSAT status").

What's Important to Know

• "Default" — the system uses the value from global settings: for the right panel — from Menu → Settings → Dialog Settings, for delay and system messages — from Menu → Settings → Settings for all operators.
• Specific value — it applies to you only and takes priority over the global one.
• Right panel — can be pinned by default and the default tab (Details or Client) can be selected.
• Message delay — allows canceling send after clicking "Send".
• System messages — display of messages like "Operator connected" when joining a dialog.
• Which types to hide — the system message types you do not see in the dialog feed. By default your role's list applies (set by an administrator). Your own list fully replaces the role's one.

Before You Start

• You are logged in with operator rights.
• You have navigated to the Profile module through the menu or profile icon.
• You have access to the profile settings section.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. In the Profile module, find the "Operator Settings" or "Settings" section (requests subsection).
2. Review available parameters:
   • Right panel — pinning and default tab (Details or Client).
   • Message send delay — time in seconds before sending (allows canceling).
   • Show system messages — display of "Operator connected" messages, etc.
   • Timezone — local time or instance time.
   • Chat view mode — participant (can reply) or observer (view only).
   • Translator — automatic translation of messages to the selected language.
3. For each parameter, select a value or "Default". "Default" — the global value applies (from Dialog Settings or Settings for all operators). Specific value — applies to you only and takes priority.
4. Click the "Save" button — settings are saved and will apply to your interface.

Hide System Message Types

The "Which types to hide" panel and the "System messages…" menu item are available only when the "System message type filter" feature is enabled on the instance.

In the profile:

1. In the "Which types to hide" panel, under the "Same as role" switch, you see what your role hides now (or "Your role hides nothing").
2. Turn "Same as role" off — checkboxes for all types appear, starting with your role's types checked.
3. Check the types you do not want to see and uncheck the ones you want to see. If you uncheck all, you see every system message, even those hidden for your role.
4. Click "Save".
5. To go back to the role's list, turn "Same as role" on and save.

From a dialog:

1. In the dialog header, click "⋯" → "System messages…" (the last menu item; tickets have it too).
2. Set "Same as role" and the types the same way as in the profile.
3. Click "Apply" — the feed updates right away, without a reload. "Cancel" closes the window without changes.

It is the same personal list as in the profile: it applies to all dialogs and survives a page reload.

Important:

• The "Show system messages" mode works as before: "Hide" hides every system message regardless of the type list, "Collapse" collapses process steps.
• E-mail history dividers, delivery errors, broadcasts, the first message from an ad and mass sends are always shown (only the "Hide" mode hides them). The filter never hides internal notes.
• If an administrator changes your role's list, you see the change after reloading the panel.
• The "Show message list" modal in the client history shows all system messages — the filter does not apply there.

What Happens After

Personal settings apply to your interface. Global settings for other operators are not changed.

How to Verify Everything Worked

• Check that settings are saved in the profile.
• Open a dialog and verify right panel behavior, message delay, and system message display.
• If you hid a type, open a dialog with such a system line — it is not in the feed.
