Configure Operator Settings in Profile

Personal operator settings allow you to override global operator panel parameters and configure personal options for convenient work.

When It Will Be Useful

  • You need to change the right panel behavior (pinning, default tab) only for yourself.
  • You want to configure message send delay or display of system messages.
  • You need to set the timezone for displaying time in messages.
  • You want to enable automatic message translation in the dialog.

What's Important to Know

  • "Default" — the system uses the value from global settings: for the right panel — from Menu → Settings → Dialog Settings, for delay and system messages — from Menu → Settings → Settings for all operators.
  • Specific value — it applies to you only and takes priority over the global one.
  • Right panel — can be pinned by default and the default tab (Details or Client) can be selected.
  • Message delay — allows canceling send after clicking "Send".
  • System messages — display of messages like "Operator connected" when joining a dialog.

Before You Start

  • You are logged in with operator rights.
  • You have navigated to the Profile module through the menu or profile icon.
  • You have access to the profile settings section.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. In the Profile module, find the "Operator Settings" or "Settings" section (requests subsection).
  2. Review available parameters:
    • Right panel — pinning and default tab (Details or Client).
    • Message send delay — time in seconds before sending (allows canceling).
    • Show system messages — display of "Operator connected" messages, etc.
    • Timezone — local time or instance time.
    • Chat view mode — participant (can reply) or observer (view only).
    • Translator — automatic translation of messages to the selected language.
  3. For each parameter, select a value or "Default". "Default" — the global value applies (from Dialog Settings or Settings for all operators). Specific value — applies to you only and takes priority.
  4. Click the "Save" button — settings are saved and will apply to your interface.

What Happens After

Personal settings apply to your interface. Global settings for other operators are not changed.

How to Verify Everything Worked

  • Check that settings are saved in the profile.
  • Open a dialog and verify right panel behavior, message delay, and system message display.
