How to switch the active process in the main menu?
Many Constructor modules run in the context of the active process (bot): scenarios, broadcasts, and parts of settings. To switch bots quickly without scrolling a long list, use the Process menu block in the main menu (hamburger icon in the top bar).
When you'll need this
- Your instance has many processes and you need to work with another bot.
- You often return to the same processes — pin them with the star icon.
- You want to find a process by part of its name without scrolling the full list.
What to know
- Active process — the bot whose context Constructor modules use now (after switching, the page reloads as before).
- Process menu is not the Process library page: the library lists all bots with filters and cards; the process menu only selects the active bot for your session.
- Pins (star) are stored in your browser per instance and user; another device may show a different pinned list.
- Clicking the star pins or unpins — it does not switch the active process.
Before you start
You are signed in to Constructor with access to multiple processes. You have access to at least two processes (otherwise the selector may be hidden).
Step-by-step
1. Open the Process menu
- Click the main menu icon (hamburger) in the top bar.
- At the top of the panel, find Process menu — the heading shows the name of the current active process.
2. Search for a process
- Click the field with the current process name — a full-width selection panel opens.
- In Search process, type part of the name.
- The list filters case-insensitively. Clear the field to show all available processes again.
3. Pin frequently used processes
- In the list, click the star to the right of a process name.
- Pinned processes appear at the top of the list (above unpinned ones).
- Click the star again to unpin.
4. Select the active process
- Click the process name in the list (not the star).
- The page reloads — Constructor modules run in the context of the selected bot.
