# Support and service status

Choose the channel that matches your question so it reaches a team that can verify it.

For general company and sales enquiries, use the [ConnectiveOne contact page](https://www.connectiveone.io/en/contacts). Product support requests belong in Client Portal.

## Product help

Start by searching for the feature name or error message in the documentation. If an instruction does not match the current UI, select **Report an issue** on that page.

If you need help with configuration or behavior in your environment, create a request in [Client Portal](https://clientportal.connectiveone.io/). Include:

- what you wanted to do;
- the steps you followed;
- what happened and what you expected;
- the product version, environment, and browser when relevant;
- a screenshot with secrets removed when the problem is otherwise hard to understand.

To learn how to sign in, choose a request type, and add details, read [How to use Client Portal](./service-desk-portal.md).

## Incident or outage

This documentation does not currently list a separate public ConnectiveOne status page. Follow the status of your incident and team responses in the corresponding **Client Portal** request.

Create an **Incident** request when the service is fully or partly unavailable or critically blocks work. Include:

- start time and time zone;
- affected users, modules, and channels;
- whether a workaround exists;
- error text with tokens, cookies, and personal data removed.

Do not create duplicate requests for the same incident. Add new facts to the original request. Priority and response-time commitments are defined by your support agreement.

## Documentation-only problem

**Report an issue** prepares a message with the URL, language, and page revision, copies it, and opens Client Portal. Paste the report into a new request and add a short example of the expected text or link.

Before submitting, read [Security and privacy](./security-and-privacy.md).
