# Release 5.14.5

This release continues the work on accurate folder counters in Operator Line: they now cost the system less, so they can stay on even on large instances, and folder badges react to a new or closed appeal right away instead of waiting for the list to refresh. Groups inside folders (by topic, status, or tag) also got accurate counters.

## Operator Line

**Fixed**

- **Folder counters work faster and stop overloading the system.** On instances with a large number of appeals and operators, computing exact folder counters could previously slow the system down, which meant those instances had to turn exact counters off. Counting is now simplified, so exact numbers can stay on without a performance cost.
- **A folder's badge reacts to a new or closed appeal instantly.** Previously, after a new appeal appeared or a chat was closed, a folder's badge only updated on the next periodic list refresh. It now changes as soon as the appeal appears or is closed.
- **Groups inside folders show the exact count.** If a folder is grouped by topic, status, or tag, each group in the expanded list now shows an exact counter instead of an approximate number based on the visible window of appeals. Empty groups are no longer hidden by mistake while their exact counter has not been computed yet.
