# HEIC/HEIF image support (photos from iPhone)

The platform accepts photos in HEIC/HEIF format — the default image format on iPhone and other Apple devices. Users do not need to convert photos manually: the system automatically processes such files.

## What this means

- **HEIC/HEIF** — an image format used by default on iPhone to save space. Previously, such files were often rejected by web services.
- **ConnectiveOne platform** now accepts HEIC/HEIF in all communication channels: Operator Panel, widget, email chat, Kwizbot (scenarios).
- **Automatic conversion** — when saved on the server, HEIC/HEIF is converted to JPEG. The saved file is always in JPEG format; the link points to the JPEG.
- **Preview** — before sending, a local .heic file is shown as an image; after saving, the preview is taken from the JPEG.

## Where it works

## For operators

If a client sends a photo from iPhone — no extra steps are needed. The file is accepted, converted, and saved as a normal image. Preview displays correctly.
