# How to create a ticket in Client Portal?

Create a new support request with **Create ticket**: department (if configured), then **request type (topic)** on cards, then the form with description and fields.

## When you'll need this

- A new question or issue not yet in **My tickets**.
- You need a formal request to the support team.

## What's important to know

- **Department step** — if your administrator enabled several departments, pick a **department** card. With a single department this step is skipped.
- **Topic step** — pick a **request type** (topic card with administrator hint text).
- **Form step** — **Title**, **Priority** (if shown), **Description**, extra fields, and **Attachments** (topic already chosen).
- If you see “Ticket creation is not configured”, contact your administrator (Constructor settings).
- After creation the ticket appears in **My tickets**.

## Before you start

- [x] You are signed in to Client Portal.

## Step-by-step

1. On **My tickets**, click **Create ticket**.
2. If the department step appears — click the **department** card (**Choose a department to continue**).
3. **Pick a request type** — click the **topic** card (**Choose a request type to continue**).
4. Fill the form:
   - **Title** — short summary.
   - **Priority** — if the field is shown.
   - **Description** — details (**Describe your issue**; the form title may include the selected topic).
   - Extra fields — if configured for that topic.
   - **Attachments** — add files if needed.
5. Click **Create ticket**.
6. After success the list refreshes; open the new ticket from the table.

**Back to departments** / **Back to topics** — return to the previous selection step.

## How to verify

- The new ticket appears in **My tickets** with an initial status such as unprocessed.
- The ticket page shows your description and topic.
