# How to Connect Viber to ConnectiveOne

Connect a Viber bot to ConnectiveOne for processing client messages through Viber.

## Prerequisites

- Viber account
- Access to Viber Partners Portal

## Bot Registration

1. Fill out the registration form on [Viber Partners Portal](https://share.hsforms.com/12pxGHMtAS3yq_3KcxQ6g1A4fpwx)
2. Wait for a response from the Viber team

After approval of the application, you will receive access to create a bot.

## Creating a Bot

**Note:** The bot creation process changed after March 1, 2024. If you are creating a new bot, contact ConnectiveOne representatives for current instructions.

### Old Process (for reference)

1. Go to [Viber Partners Portal](https://partners.viber.com/login)
2. Enter the Viber administrator phone number
3. Enter the code from the message
4. Select **Create Bot Account**
5. Fill in bot information:
   - **Account Name** — bot name
   - **Uri** — unique identifier (used for links)
   - **Category, Subcategory** — business category
   - **Language** — primary language
   - **Account Description** — bot description
   - **Website Address** — website link
   - **Email Address** — email
   - **Location** — country on the map
6. Copy the received token

## Connecting to ConnectiveOne

1. Go to **Bot Settings** → select the needed bot
2. In the **Channels** section, find **Viber**
3. Paste the token in the **Viber Token** field
4. Click **Connect bot to channel**

After successful connection, a green icon will appear.

## Changing Bot Name

1. In bot settings, find the **Viber Bot Name** field
2. Enter a new name
3. Click **Bind to bot**

## Publishing the Bot

1. In the Viber mobile app, go to: **More** → **Settings** → **My Bots**
2. Select the created bot
3. Click **Publish**

**Important:** Enable data transfer through the mobile operator network.

## Display in Search

After creation, the bot does not appear in search. To activate display, contact Viber Support.

## Pricing Features

Viber has limitations on free messages:

- A bot can write to a user for free within 24 hours from the moment of the last message from the user
- After 24 hours, the "Chatbot-initiated message" model comes into effect, which is priced depending on the user's country
