# How to Activate a Scheduled Broadcast?

When a broadcast is created as a draft or was deactivated, activation allows enabling it for automatic launch on schedule. This instruction will help activate a scheduled broadcast.

---

## When Needed

- The broadcast is created as a draft, but now you need to activate it.
- The broadcast was temporarily deactivated, but is now ready to launch.
- You need to enable a scheduled broadcast before its launch.

---

## What's Important to Know

- **Active broadcast** — broadcast with enabled status that will be automatically launched on the set schedule.
- **Inactive broadcast** — broadcast with disabled status that will not launch automatically.
- Activation does not launch the broadcast immediately, but only allows it to launch on schedule.

---

## Prerequisites

- [x] You are logged in with operator or administrator rights.
- [x] You have navigated to the **Broadcast** module via `Menu -> Broadcast`.
- [x] There is at least one inactive broadcast with a set start date in the system.

---

## Step-by-Step Instructions

1. In the `Broadcast` module, go to the **"Broadcasts"** section — a table with all broadcasts opens.
2. Find the needed broadcast in the list — in the **"Broadcast Active"** column you will see a gray toggle (inactive status).
3. Click the toggle in the **"Broadcast Active"** column — the toggle becomes green, showing active status.

---

## What Happens After

The broadcast becomes active and will be automatically launched by the system at the set time (start date). Until that moment, the broadcast remains in waiting state.

---

## How to Verify It Worked

- Check that the toggle in the "Broadcast Active" column became green.
- Make sure the broadcast start date is set correctly.
- Wait for the launch time and check that the broadcast started sending.
